Into the blogging world I go...

So hey, my first blog post, I'm hoping to follow a career in journalism, which is partly why I've joined blogger, the other part is because Zahra told me to.
I'm hopeless at blogging and this whole autosave thing is annoying me a bit, however I do like the thought of somebody reading this, which is why i'll say nice things.
I'm a musician, I play guitar, a bit of piano and various bits and bobs, I write songs, weird songs, usually they fall under the whole sort of 'boy falls in love with girl, blah blah blah' genre, but sometimes I come up with songs about... imaginary things that go on inside this mans head, like a horrible man beating wife, and I'm currently writing a song about bridges.
Writing songs helps me to express a lot of my emotions and I'm hoping I can acheive the same sort of thing out of this.
Should be fun!
